Kevin Burdick LiveLast night’s show at Lumpy’s was one of those “feel good” nights that will help keep me going for a while.  We had a good turn out, helped raised a couple thousand dollars for Leukemia related charities, and put on one hell of a good show.  Special Guest percussionist, Aaron “Chives” Chavez, was flawless in his beats that he laid down and my improv song called “Groupies and Scoopies” was pretty silly, generally inappropriate, and completely entertaining.  All and all, it was an hour well spent and I was happy to donate my fee and some of the merchandise sales to the event. Big thanks to Jessica Cox for inviting me to play, Michael Dash for helping to make me feel welcome, Lumpy’s for letting us use their sound system and their venue, the sexy Mr. Jake Jacobsen for opening, all of the companies that donated for the silent auction, the friends and fans who left their seats for March Madness games and spent their time rocking with me, and all of the good people who spent much of their Saturday helping to further and important and meaningful cause. Check back in a few days for photos from the Lumpy’s photographer.
