The Entrepreneur
In 2004, Kevin Burdick started InvestMed, LLC with his partner Bruce Bogden. Together they created a patient kiosk software package which was established to replace the tedious waiting room forms patients are expected to fill out by hand in medical offices around the US. The new InvestMed Patient Kiosk software, released in 2005, was innovative, cutting-edge, and way before it’s time. In 2009, InvestMed was acquired by a Fortune 500 company for an undisclosed payout. Kevin and Bruce hold patent-pending status on the concept, which is now (year’s later) a staple in most electronic medical record systems.
