Anchor – A safe harbor for those who are lost…

The lyrics to Anchor were inspired by a conversation I had had with a friend back in 2012 who struggling with addiction and PTSD. She told me, “I don’t know where to put my anchor. I feel lost.” I responded with, “Put your anchor on me…”

As a new father, I was also moved by the love I had for my sons. I thought, “I wonder if they will struggle with these sorts of challenges as they get older. I wonder if they will have a safe place to put their anchor.”

As I thought of these lyrics poured out of me and the song “Anchor” was born. It practically wrote itself. I hope that it gives you or ones you love safe harbor from the storms of life and place to put your anchor.
